Yesterday Amanda and I took Anya and Steven to the mall to see Santa. Anya and I had breakfast with Santa Saturday morning, which she thoroughly enjoyed, so I thought she would love this also. She didn't freak out like she did last year, but wasn't crazy about it either. So we gave Steven to Santa and got a few pictures, then Anya decided she wanted to join in. Of course, neither of them would smile, which is not unusual for Anya. She simply refuses to smile for the camera. And if she does smile, it is an eye-squinting-lips-together-nose-scrunched silly smile.
